Seeker

He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
			Isaiah 40:29-31

There is no more certain road to growth than through spirituality. We are the children of God, meant to live in the comfort of His love. Every moment is filled with the potential for spiritual growth; we are surrounded by spiritual doorways. God teaches us in ways that we can hear, if only we listen.

As a wounded young adult, I turned my back on God, shook my fist at Him and stomped away into the land of the lost. God never turned His back on me, though, and eventually I learned it is not possible to turn one's back on the ALL that surrounds us. God brought me through so much and has blessed me completely, and I am truly eternally grateful. His love is the continuous golden thread woven through all our lives.

These pages are meant to be only a starting place for the continuation of my own and others' search for new doorways. Reading about faith is not the way to find faith, though. The Way is not through reading about spirituality, but reading of others' journeys is a method by which we can ponder and question our true and deepest beliefs, and an indication of our willingness to open our hearts to the true answers waiting to be seen. I believe that God is constantly alert to our tiniest yearnings and leads us gently back to the strong, sure knowledge of His lovingkindness.

It is possible that you are at this moment reaching out to open the doorway God has placed in front of you. He is standing beside you, reaching with you; He is standing before you, reaching toward you. Hold out your hand.
